Michael has been plagued with a random fever followed with a nasty cold since last Friday. We had plans to visit my college friend in Raleigh while Spencer was out of town and that's when the fever spiked- plans aborted. Then, ironically, Spencer had a conference in Raleigh Saturday for the day and asked us to tag along.... knowing how disappointed I was to cancel the weekend before's plans. Because of Michael's rough week, we almost decided not to go. I'm so glad we went. Loved catching up with my friend but it was more fun to see she and her husband as parents and enjoy time with our two, 1+ year olds. Love how friendships evolve....and new ones begin.
Great time at the Children's Museum... of course because it was such beautiful weather, the moms and the kids enjoyed the time outside....thus the digging in the dirt.
Michael enjoyed playing with this fun wooden crane set when we got home- what a nice gift!
