Not just a slacker

Hey ya'll just wanted to update ya'll on my lack of updating ya'll. Turns out our camera is in spartanburg at David's mom's house! We stayed there for the GT game and it didn't make it back into our bags! I will get it back when we see them for Thanksgiving. I bought a disposible camera to last us until then, but hate that I can't share our pics for a while! However, I can tell ya'll how stinking cute John Thomas has been lately, along with how challenging! Lets just say he is very 2! We had to reschedule his 2 year check up since we decided to go to the zoo for his birthday and just had it last week. He is very average in size 50% in head size and height and between 25% and 50% in weight. He is saying new words all the time and putting words together into short sentences. We are having to be even more careful about the things we say and do around him, he just wants to do what he sees us do which is motivation to be better people. He loves to carry around my pocketbooks and say "bye bye" as he walks to the door so mom got him a bag with tiger paws on it that he has to take when we go places. During the game yesterday David got frustrated at a play and threw his hat on the coffee table, to which John Thomas responded by going up to hit the coffee table and yell no! just like his daddy did! He is starting to have an opinion on what he wears and refuses to keep his shoes on, which means my days of dressing him in adorable outfits is surely numbered! Halloween was a blast, we had a few friends over for supper and trick or treating, he loved it! We couldn't get him to say trick or treat, but he did say please and thank you (or peas and gank goo!). He also loved having the other kids at his house and Saturday morning he ran out into the living room and said "Babies!" then looked around wondering where his friends had gone! Anyway, can't wait to share the pics once I get our camera back and develop the disposible camera. Hope all are doing well! Carolyn
