Hazel Family Plus: We're still here!

Hi! Sharon here. Sorry for my lack of posts recently. I have to admit I've been more of a Facebook follower than blog-poster/stalker recently. I like both but I have a hard time getting it all done.

Here's the run-down of the Witkin crew-

Michael has started Mother's Morning Out Tuesday and Thursday mornings. He's done really well with the transition and I'm happy that he gets interaction not only with other children, but also other adults. He no longer cries when I drop him off and he recognizes Miss Barbara and Miss Becky as the kind people they are- no longer like the scary people his cries indicated they be in the beginning.

We have a routine of going to the downtown library story hour on Monday mornings. There are two story times- 10 for babies and 10:30 for toddlers. Michael kinda falls in between and so we try to hit both of them; they're led by two different librarians. He enjoys the other kids there, too, and they also incorporate music into the program. We always come home with new books to read, too.

We've enrolled in a Kindermusik class on Fridays and Mr. Michael shines! He dances to all the music, loves the teacher and Grand was even able to take part in his first class-

We spent a week in September in Seneca, in a house my parents rented on Lake Keowee. We were there the weekends of the Boston College and TCU games and the week in- between. We spent the weekends tailgating, football watching and enjoying not having to pack up and drive and the week in-between, we spent enjoying the Clemson campus, hiking and visiting waterfalls, park playing, apple-picking, boat riding and lake swimming. It was a really fun week. I didn't take a lot of pictures- Mom and Dad took a bunch and Carolyn has a lot of pics on her computer- but here are a few shots from a very fun and busy week-
