Michael enjoyed his very first Hazel Hideaway PORCH PARTY:
I had an emotional and "crabby" New Year's Eve day.... nothing a little wine and some Edisto time couldn't make better! :)
We fixed a yummy New Year's Eve dinner.
Of course, we spent all day on Thursday watching New Year's Day football.
A toast to our Tigers... we had our ups and downs. Wish we won our bowl game but no matter- the Hazels are true fans and we'll be in Tigertown next year to cheer our team on again.

Carolyn, David, Spencer and I went on a date night Friday night while Mom and Dad kept the boys. We decided this year not to give gifts to one another and instead "do" something together. We went out to eat at the Plantation Grill at Fairfield- its always going to be Fairfield to me.. even though the Wyndham bought it- and we we had a FABULOUS meal. Lots of fun!!
We spent the day on Saturday on the beach at Botany Bay Plantation. It was a really neat plantation tour and the beach and land were undeveloped and well-preserved. It was a walk to the beach area and I thought it was going to be warmer than it actually was- mist and fog made it a cool late morning. I borrowed a vest from David and my little Michael looks more like a little Joey and me the momma kangaroo. :) Michael did really well and seemed to again enjoy the fresh air!
